What is Willa?

Willa answers your guests' questions about your wedding or event, so you don't have to. Guests text your event's Willa number, or open a private web chat, and ask what they'd normally ask you: what time the ceremony starts, where to park, which hotel has the room block, what to wear. Willa replies using the details you've shared about your event.

How it works

1. You create an event. Give it a name, type, and date.
2. You teach Willa about it. Type in details, upload documents like schedules and PDFs, or import your wedding website.
3. You test it. Ask Willa the questions your guests will ask and fill in anything it doesn't know yet.
4. You share it. Put your Willa number or guest link on your wedding website, invitations, or welcome signs.

From there, guests ask Willa instead of texting you, your family, or your planner.

What guests can ask

Anything you've told Willa about. The most common questions are about:

• The schedule and start times
• The venue and how to get there
• Parking and transportation
• Hotels and accommodations
• Dress code
• Food and drinks
• Registry, kids, and plus-ones

If a guest asks something Willa doesn't have an answer for, it won't make something up. The question shows up on your event so you can add the answer, and Willa uses it from then on.

Texting and web chat

Every event includes a web chat page guests can open from a link. Paid plans also give your event a dedicated phone number guests can text. Both reach the same answers. See How guests use Willa for what the experience looks like on their side.

You stay in control

Willa only answers from what you share. You decide what goes in, and you can keep some details limited to specific guest groups, like the wedding party or out-of-town guests. You can also send text announcements to everyone or just certain groups when plans change.
