No. Guests text your wedding’s number from the messaging app already on their phone. There’s nothing to install.

Does my wedding get its own phone number?

Yes, on Essential and Signature. Your wedding gets a dedicated number that’s only used for your event. The free plan includes web chat for up to 25 guests, without a text number.

Can Willa use information from my wedding website?

Yes. On Essential and Signature, paste your wedding website link and review what Willa found before guests can get it. On any plan, you can also upload files like timelines and hotel details, or type details in yourself.

What happens if Willa doesn’t know an answer?

Willa tells the guest you haven’t shared that detail yet instead of guessing, and marks the question Needs host on your event overview. On Signature, you can answer it right there: Willa saves your answer for next time and can text it to the guests who already asked.

Can my wedding planner help manage Willa?

Yes. Add your planner or coordinator as an admin using the email address on their Willa account. Each admin signs in with their own free account, so nobody shares a password.

Can different guests get different answers?

Yes, on Signature. Put guests into groups like Wedding party or Family, then choose which details each group can see. Willa recognizes guests by the phone number on your guest list and answers with what their group can see.

Can I text updates to my guests?

Yes. Send an announcement by text to everyone on your guest list with a phone number, or, on Signature, to specific groups. Send it now or schedule it ahead. Essential includes 3 announcements and Signature includes 10.

When should I share the Willa number with guests?

Once your main details are in and you’ve tried a few questions yourself. Sharing it alongside your travel and hotel details works well, and it’s worth reminding guests again the week of the wedding, on a welcome sign or in an announcement.

Do guests need a Willa account?

No. Guests just text the number. Only you and the people helping you manage the wedding need a Willa account.

Can I update information after guests have started using Willa?

Yes. Edit or add details any time. Once Willa has processed a change, new questions are answered from the updated information.
