Where should I share my Willa number?
Share your Willa number wherever guests look for event details: your wedding website, invitations, welcome signs, hotel welcome bags, and a text announcement.
Last updated
Share your Willa number anywhere guests already look for event details. The best places are your wedding website, your invitations, a welcome sign at the venue, and hotel welcome bags. Most hosts use several, so guests always have it nearby when a question comes up.
Find your number and link
On Essential and up, your event gets a dedicated Willa number. You'll find it at the top of your event pages and on the Overview, where you can select it to copy. It's also listed in Settings under Event text number.
Every event also has a guest link to the web chat. Select Share link at the top of any event page to share or copy it.
On the Free plan, guests use the web chat only, so share your guest link in the places below.
Where to share it
Your wedding website. Add a line to your FAQ or travel page, like "Questions about the weekend? Text Willa at (555) 123-4567." Guests check the website when planning, so this catches the early questions about hotels and travel.
Save-the-dates and invitations. Print the number on an insert or the details card. It's the one place you know every guest will see.
Welcome signs. A sign at the entrance or reception covers day-of questions, like where the restroom is, when dinner starts, or where the shuttle picks up.
Hotel welcome bags. Add a small card with the number. Out-of-town guests have the most questions about schedule, transportation, and parking.
A text announcement. Once your guest list is in, send an announcement introducing Willa. Because it comes from your Willa number, guests can reply with a question right away and save the number for later.
Programs, menus, and table cards. Useful for multi-day events where plans change between days.
What to say
Keep it short and tell guests what they can ask. For example:
Have a question about the weekend? Text Willa at (555) 123-4567 for the schedule, parking, hotels, dress code, and more.
Guests are most likely to ask about parking and the schedule, so mentioning those helps them know what Willa is for.
Who can text the number
By default, anyone with your event's number can ask questions, and details you've limited to guest groups stay with recognized guests. If you'd rather only guests on your list get answers, change Who can text Willa? in Settings to Registered guests only. Guests are recognized by the phone number on your guest list.
The web chat asks guests to confirm who they are with the email or phone number on your guest list. See How guests use Willa.
